New ownership is currently restoring the campground back to a great family vacation area!
We have totally renovated the main bathhouse with tiled showers and walls, locking doors instead of curtains and solid surface counter tops.
The cottages have been totally renovated inside and out. There is a queen size bed down stairs, ceiling fans upstairs and down, outside spicket and a/c, a new TV with cable, and a microwave and refrigerator. Upstairs there are two twin beds. We have also replaced all the flooring and interior wall finishes. The cottages will still have their matching picnic tables.
The pool will be resurfaced and have a fresh coat of paint…it will be inviting for everyone! Of course we will continue with our general clean up and upgrade of the park through out the year. We will post pictures as things come to completion so you can see the progress!!
I have made reservations for this weekend and looking forward to have fun.
We are tent camping. Do you have fire rings? Can we build a campfire?
Are the campsites under any trees?

Open fires are not allowed in Hatteras campsites and the sites do not have fire rings, however you can bring a covered fire pit if you choose. There are a limited number of trees in the tent area.
