Q). How far away is the beach?

A). The beach is 7/10th of a mile from the park.

Q). Are pets welcome in the Campsites?

A). Yes, but ALL pets must be leashed at all times and all droppings must be picked up, bagged and placed in the trash.

Q). Can I bring my boat?

A). There is no extra room for a boat, however, there are marinas nearby that can rent you slip.

Q). Are pets allowed in Campers, Cabins and the Single Wide Trailer?

A). 1 pet is allowed only in the Rental Camper or Cabin with a one-time $50 pet fee. Pets are not allowed in the Single Wide Trailer.

Q). Are pets allowed in the Cottages?

A). Pets are allowed in the Cottages with a one-time $25.00 pet fee.

Q). Do you have sewage hookups on sites?

A). Yes

Q). What time is check in and checkout?

A). Check in for rental campers and cottages is 4 pm with checkout at 11 am. Check in for campsites is 2 pm with checkout at 12 pm.

Q). How many people can we have on one site?

A). Your nightly rate includes 4 people. Any additional people over the amount of 4 are an additional $5 per person, per day (Some exceptions apply; ask for details).

Q). Can we have open fires?

A). Open fires are prohibited in Hatteras Village. However, you may use your own portable fire pit with a screen.

Q). What is the cancellation policy for cottages, cabins, and rental campers?

There is a 14 day cancellation on rentals. Outside of 14 days, there is a $10.00 fee. If within the 14 days, the entire amount that has been collected will be forfeited.
